Show up for lessons
Bring them to lessons, show interest in what they are doing, and ask them to play for you. Watch them thrive. Repeat Step 3.

WHY TAKE MUSIC LESSONS?
Aside from just being fun...Studies show that taking music lessons helps build self-esteem, increases coordination, heightens concentration, boosts intellect, and fosters higher academic performance. Learning an instrument does not require multiple days of scheduled practices ​and ​weekend events. There are no costumes to purchase (or make). Trips to urgent care are pretty rare (with the exception of a stage diving incident here or there). This is a skill you could still be participating in when you are in your 80's.
